Oilers vs. Crosby Comets 5-1
The 19U Oilers go their season started on Nov. 25, at the Hansen Arena against the Crosby Comets. The Oilers wasted no time getting the scoring started with Eastyn Wold shooting a rocket past the goalie after a nice feed from Kaylor Knutson, 45 seconds into the game. Knutson’s passing was key on the next goal, one-touching it to Emree Wold who beat the goalie stick side. Emree Wold would pick up another goal with a backhand shot, assisted by Eastyn Wold.
In the second period, Eastyn would covert a quick outlet pass from Lauren Melland to get the Oiler lead back to 3 at 4-1.
The third period would be all Oilers. Eastyn would get her third of the game on the rish, short handed, beating the goalie five hole for her hat trick. Emree put the Oilers up five with her hat trick goal converting a 2-1 rush with a pass from Eastyn into the slot. Berkly Wirtz would finish the scoring unassisted, picking up a loose puck and taking it to the net beating the goalie with a deke.
