Wolves pick up three wins in baseball action
Watford City picked up three more wins to improve their season record to 14-6 overall and 9-3 in Region play as the Wolves downed New Town 10-0 and Trinity Christian 9-1 in high school baseball action last Monday and then downed Kenmare 12-0 on Thursday.
Boys golf team takes 5th place at NW Conference
The Watford City High School boys golf team took fifth place with a team score of 365 to place in fifth place at the Northwest Conference Golf Tournament on Monday, May 10 at the Eagle Ridge Country Club in Williston.

The Watford City girls golf team shot a 444 to take fifth place at the Northwest Conference Golf Meet at the Prairie Rose Golf Course last Monday and then returned to Stanley on Saturday to compete in the Individual State Qualifier.

Wolves, Warriors advance in Region 8 tourney
Watford City and Mandaree earning decisive wins in the first round of the Region 8 Boys Basketball Tournament on Monday afternoon to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Wolves defeated Powers Lake 49-33, while the Warriors upended Divide County 81-65.
