Vehicular Battery case update

During a status hearing last Friday at the Meade County Courthouse, South Dakota, a trial date was scheduled for Oct. 1-3, 2025.
The 35 year-old Watford City man has been charged with a Class 4 Felony in conjunction with the August 2024 motorcycle crash at the Buffalo Chip Campground during Sturgis.
Robert Shipp has been charged with DUI and vehicular battery in connection to the crash. As a result of the incident, Wesbrock suffered a major brain injury and has remained in an unresponsive state ever since.
