Two WCHS students named Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation semi-finalists

Ambition, drive, and a commitment to excellence have propelled two Watford City High School students into the semi-final round of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarship program. Danielle Nusz and Patricia Schmitz, have been named as semi-finalists for the prestigious award.
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is a highly-competitive national program that awards scholarships of up to $20,000 to “exceptional high school students dedicated to leadership, service, and action that positively affects others.” This year, over 100,000 students applied, and Danielle and Patricia are among the top 1,500 semi-finalists.
According to Bridget Ryberg, Assistant Principal at Watford City High School, both Danielle and Patricia are incredibly ambitious and driven young women.
