Area businesses are being offered a valuable opportunity to engage in a “Youth Workforce Conversation Lunch & Learn” on Wednesday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bakken Area Skills Center (BASC). The event, detailed in a flyer circulated by the Watford City Economic and Community Development team, promises a free lunch and insightful information aimed at strengthening the local workforce.

Representatives from Watford City Economic and Community Development highlighted the team's commitment to fostering connections within the community. The “Lunch & Learn” event aims to foster such connections and growth. The event is touted as an opportunity to hear from the North Dakota Department of Commerce, which will be sharing information on commerce grants and programs designed to support businesses with workforce recruitment and development efforts. Additionally, the North Dakota Career & Technology Education (CTE) will be present to share details on CTE programs and services that also aim to bolster workforce recruitment and development.

Area businesses are encouraged to learn more about the Watford City Economic and Community Development team and their resources by visiting their website. Participants are encouraged to register for the event by scanning the QR code on the “Lunch and Learn” event flyer.
