MCF Newsroom
The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office recognized Communications Tech Tiffany Johnson, Corporal Max Ingram, Deputy Mark Stevens ( not pictured), and Deputy Zack Moran for their swift, skilled response that led to the saving of a life.
On July 20, 2024, MCSO received an emergency call reporting a male in distress. Communications Tech Johnson quickly gathered and relayed critical information with efficiency, which allowed deputies to quickly locate and reach the individual, who was showing signs of an opioid overdose.
Upon arrival, Corporal Ingram, Deputy Stevens, and Deputy Moran found the male in respiratory distress and immediately rendered emergency medical aid. Their quick action, combined with Johnson’s efficient dispatching, directly contributed to the successful treatment and recovery of the indicidual.
This incident reflects the very definition of a Life Saving Award - recognizing those who demonstrate awareness, decisiveness, and courage in a situation where a life would likely have been lost without intervention.
