The jury trial, in the case against Hugo Hernandez Jr., has been postponed.
The 32 year-old Watford City man has been charged with a Class C Felony in conjunction with the March, 2023 shooting death of Brianne Anderson.
According to public records, the trial that was originally scheduled to begin on Jan. 6, 2025, has been rescheduled to March 3, 2025.
McKenzie County States Attorney Ty Skarda resigned his position within the Northwest Judicial District, therefore a new states attorney, Nathan Kirke Madden has been assigned to this case.
